My House (2020) is a series of works that explores the boundaries between the artist’s body and different domestic objects while being confined to the house in quarantine. The works are made by combining plaster and found objects as an exploration of the rigidness of objects and their functional categories. The works are meant to examine these functional categories, carefully looking for humor, abundance, and grief in their dysfunction. The series was completed as part of a residency at Alterworks in Queens, NY. Website here and Press release here.
